General Information

Information provided on this website and through The Gentle Path Inward™ resources is general in nature and is not intended to replace advice, diagnosis or treatment from an appropriately qualified health professional.

While reasonable care is taken when preparing information and resources, individual circumstances vary and information that is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another.

You should seek appropriate professional advice where you have concerns about your physical or mental health.

Root Cause Therapy

Root Cause Therapy (RCT) is a complementary therapeutic approach that may involve exploring past experiences, emotions, beliefs and patterns that may be influencing your present experience.

RCT is not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric care, psychological treatment or other services provided by appropriately qualified and registered health professionals.

No particular outcome from Root Cause Therapy can be guaranteed. Individual experiences and responses vary.

Where a concern or need falls outside my qualifications, training or scope of practice, I may recommend that you seek support from an appropriately qualified healthcare or other professional.

This reflects both the Victorian Code of Conduct and the IICT Code of Ethics. The IICT Code specifically requires members to recommend medical or psychological assistance when a client’s needs fall outside the practitioner’s expertise, experience or qualifications. IICT-Code-Of-Ethics-2022 (1)

Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness practices offered by The Gentle Path Inward™ are intended to support relaxation, awareness, reflection and general wellbeing.

Meditation experiences vary. Some people may experience uncomfortable thoughts, emotions, memories or physical sensations during meditation.

You are encouraged to practise in a way that feels appropriate for you and to pause or stop a practice if you become uncomfortable or distressed.

If you have a medical or mental health condition, or have concerns about whether meditation is suitable for you, consider discussing this with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Courses, Workshops & Corporate Wellbeing

Courses, workshops and corporate wellbeing programs provided by The Gentle Path Inward™ are educational and wellbeing services.

They are not intended to provide individual medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or other professional advice unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Workplace wellbeing programs are intended to complement — not replace — an organisation’s obligations relating to workplace health and safety, human resources, employee assistance or professional healthcare.

Participants remain responsible for seeking appropriate individual professional support where required.

Books, Videos, Recordings & Digital Resources

Books, meditation recordings, videos, articles, worksheets, downloadable resources and other materials provided by The Gentle Path Inward™ are for general educational, reflective and wellbeing purposes.

They are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure a medical or mental health condition.

You should not disregard or delay seeking appropriate professional advice because of information contained in a book, video, meditation, course, website page or other resource provided by The Gentle Path Inward™.

Testimonials

Testimonials and personal stories appearing on this website represent the experiences of the individuals concerned.

They are provided to illustrate personal experiences and should not be interpreted as a guarantee, prediction or representation that another person will achieve the same or similar results.

Individual experiences and outcomes vary.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

The Gentle Path Inward™ does not guarantee particular therapeutic, emotional, wellbeing, personal, professional or organisational outcomes.

The effectiveness and experience of any wellbeing practice or service can vary according to individual circumstances and many other factors.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as a promise of a particular result.

Professional Scope

I aim to practise within the scope of my qualifications, training and professional experience and to refer clients to other appropriately qualified professionals when their needs fall outside that scope.

The Victorian Code requires general health service providers to maintain appropriate competence, not provide services outside their experience or training, and recognise the limitations of the services they can provide. general_code_of_conduct_-_a3_2
